Luke McDonald
Luke co-owns Brick City Martial Arts with his brother Dane and holds a first-degree black belt in Tang Soo Do.
Born and raised in Texas, Luke began his martial arts journey in 2010 at Texoma Judo-Jiu Jitsu. He went on to compete in tournaments across the country, and in 2013 he placed in the top 10 nationally for his age group.
In 2017, Luke joined the United States Air Force as an A-10 Crew Chief and served stateside and overseas in Jordan and South Korea. A spinal injury sustained during his service led him to become a NASM-certified personal trainer specializing in corrective exercise. That understanding of how the body moves, and how it gets hurt, shapes the way he approaches training at Brick City.
Today Luke works across every part of the school: at the front desk, in classes of every style, and on the business behind the scenes. For kids, his goals are simple: build real fitness and give them the confidence to defend themselves.
